A metered taxi suits a short hop across town. A pre-booked transfer suits an airport arrival, a group with luggage or a border crossing, because the price, the vehicle and the meeting point are agreed before you travel. These comparisons set out the costs side by side.
Written from official timetables, tariffs and border rules, and dated so you can see when each one was last checked.
A private transfer from Dubrovnik Airport to the Old Town costs €50 by car for up to four passengers and €65 by minivan for up to eight (2026 prices). The price is per vehicle, not per person, and includes luggage, tolls and VAT. The drive is about 22 km and takes 30–35 minutes, or up to an hour in July and August traffic.
The driver waits in the arrivals hall, just after the customs exit, holding a sign with the lead passenger's name. We track the flight number you give us, so a late landing does not change the pickup, and the first 60 minutes of waiting after landing are free.
No. The Old Town inside the walls is closed to all traffic, and from 1 April to 31 October the streets around it are a restricted zone that vehicles may enter only with City authorisation. The driver stops at the nearest point your vehicle is allowed to use, which we name in the booking confirmation, and from there Pile Gate or Ploče Gate is a short walk.
Per vehicle. A car for one to four passengers has one price and a minivan for five to eight passengers has another, so the cost per person falls as the group grows. The price we confirm in writing is the price you pay: no meter, no night surcharge and no luggage fee.
Send the route, date, time and number of passengers through the booking form, by WhatsApp or by email. We reply with a fixed price, 08:00–20:00 daily, usually within the hour. No prepayment is needed for a standard transfer: you pay the driver in euros, in cash or by card.
Yes. Cancelling or changing a booking is free up to 24 hours before the pickup time. If your flight is delayed or rescheduled, tell us the new flight number and we move the pickup at no cost.
Yes, free of charge. Tell us the age and weight of each child when you book and the driver fits the right infant carrier, child seat or booster before the pickup.
Yes. We run private transfers and day trips to Kotor, Budva and Tivat in Montenegro and to Mostar and Međugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Both countries are outside the EU and the Schengen area, so every passenger needs a passport and the journey time depends on the queue at the border.
